Short Description
Dr. Pérez-Solà is currently an Assistant Professor at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). She received her PhD in Computer Science from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) and in Engineering Science (Electrical Engineering) from the Katolieke Universiteit Leuven (KULeuven). Her main research interests are focused on Bitcoin and blockchain based cryptocurrencies, mainly with respect to security and privacy. Dr. Pérez-Solà has published more than 40 papers; has served in the Program Committee of many international conferences; and as a reviewer for blockchain focused papers in high impact journals. She has also co-chaired different editions of the DPM (Data Privacy Management) and CBT (Cryptocurrencies and Blockchain Technology) ESORICS workshops.
