Bringing Sustainable Cybersecurity to the Internet of Things
This project aims to address the growing problem of the transmission of false or malicious content that is generated and spread through networks, by using tools that analyze such information and enable its potential malicious identification for subsequent filtering.
Based on this general framework, the project primarily focuses on four of the topics proposed in INCIBE’s public call:
- Data Security: Solutions for data security and the prevention of its malicious use.
- IoT Devices: Innovative systems for the security analysis of IoT devices.
- Crypto-transactions: Systems for tracking crypto-transactions.
- 5G Networks: Innovative cybersecurity solutions for 5G networks.
SECURING
Cybersecurity in Hyperconnected Environments
SECURING aims to provide cost-effective cybersecurity and privacy technologies to endorse IoT infrastructures with the required levels of protection that are necessary for a sustainable deployment of this technology.

SECURING aims to provide cost-effective cybersecurity and privacy technologies to endorse IoT infrastructures with the required levels of protection that are necessary for a sustainable deployment of this technology.
- SECURING will contribute with reliable cybersecurity IoT infrastructures focusing on intrusion detection and prevention (IDP) techniques.
- SECURING will target sustainable user’s privacy in IoT environments by designing new sustainable privacy protocols.
- SECURING will propose a novel distributed privacy-preserving community-based crowdsensing communication paradigm to satisfy the communications needs for a distributed IoT sensing environment

CiberSec+
Research network on cybersecurity and privacy composed by different groups from Spain. The network is funded by Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovación, under the call Redes de investigación 2022 Programa Estatal para impulsar la investigación científico-técnica y su transferencia.
