Short Description
I’m Domènec, a 25-year-old Computer Engineer from UAB, currently pursuing a Master’s in Cybersecurity and Privacy at UOC. After a short time working as a cybersecurity consultant in large companies, I joined the Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies research group at the DEIC department at UAB, where I’m currently working. I’ve always been passionate about cryptography and love exploring its role in blockchain technology. When I get some free time, I enjoy hiking in the mountains with my dog as it’s the perfect way to disconnect and recharge.

- Developed a parallel Bitcoin mainnet using a fully dockerized environment for research and testing
- Conducted research on wallet fingerprinting and ECDSA signature analysis in Bitcoin hardware wallets
- Currently investigating covert channel attacks in Bitcoin and working on proposals to improve anti-exfiltration protocols in hardware wallets
